This was the beginning of five years of campaigning to raise the profile of the antiques industry in the UK. This feature, from 2009, was designed to boost the profile of National Antiques Week, and persuaded over 1000 dealers to offer our readers 10% off. In 2010, we teamed up with 100 dealers to offer our readers 20% off. The following year, we launched a campaign with Kirstie Allsopp to find 'Britain's Best Antiques Shops' which, in 2013, became the Homes & Antiques Awards, attracting just under 10,000 votes and national media coverage.
